Terms and conditions

The agreement between you and us: how accounts and sites work, what your plan buys, how billing runs, and what our market data is and is not.

The agreement

These terms are a contract between you and Anomus Data FZ-LLC ("we", "us"), a company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. They cover your use of the Anomus Data website, the API and the customer dashboard (together, "the service").

By creating an account or making a request against the API you accept these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

If you do not accept these terms, do not use the service.

02

Accounts, sites and API keys

You need an account to use the API. You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you give us and for everything that happens under your account.

Within an account you create sites. Each site is issued its own API key and carries its own plan. A key identifies the site that made a request, and requests are counted and billed against that site.

  • Keep your API keys secret. Treat a key like a password — anyone holding it can spend your balance.
  • Regenerate a key immediately if you believe it has been exposed. You can do this yourself in the dashboard at any time.
  • You are responsible for usage made with your keys, including by third parties you have shared them with, until the moment a key is regenerated or the site is deleted.

We may suspend an account or a site that is being used in a way that threatens the stability of the service or the security of other customers. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first.

03

Plans, limits and fair use

Plans are priced per site, per month. Each site on your account carries its own plan and is billed independently, though all of them draw from a single account balance.

Your plan sets two limits: how many requests that site may make per minute, and how many instruments may be returned in a single response. Both are published on the pricing page and are returned in the headers of every response.

  • Exceeding your per-minute allowance returns a 429 with a header telling you how long to wait. The request is refused, not billed.
  • Asking for more instruments than your plan allows returns a clear error rather than a silently truncated response.
  • There are no overage charges. We will never bill you for usage above your plan.

You may change a site's plan at any time. Changing starts a fresh billing period for that site at the new price, and the new limits apply to its existing key immediately.

Automated scraping designed to reconstruct the whole catalogue, reselling the raw feed as your own data product, or sharing one key across unrelated products to avoid per-site pricing are all outside fair use, and we may suspend a site for any of them.

04

Balance, billing and renewals

The service is prepaid. You top up an account balance, and each site's subscription fee is drawn from that balance at the start of each period.

Deposits are made by cryptocurrency transfer and are credited once the transaction is confirmed and reviewed. Amounts credited are the amounts actually received.

  • A subscription renews only if the balance covers it. If it does not, the site's plan lapses and its key stops being authorised until you top up.
  • We do not charge late fees, and a lapsed site is not deleted — restoring it is a matter of funding the balance again.
  • Balance is held in your account for use against the service. Because deposits are made in cryptocurrency and credited at the value received, balance is not refundable and cannot be withdrawn.

Prices may change. If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you before it applies to your next renewal, and you are free to move to a different tier or stop.

05

The data, and what it is not

We provide market data on a best-effort basis. Every response carries the moment it was generated, so you can always establish how fresh a number is, and you should treat that timestamp as part of the data rather than as metadata.

Market data is provided for information only. It is not investment advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy or sell anything. It is not intended to be used as the sole basis for any trading, settlement, valuation or risk decision.

  • We do not warrant that the data is complete, accurate, uninterrupted or error-free.
  • We do not warrant that any particular instrument or market will remain in the catalogue. Coverage changes.
  • You are responsible for verifying prices independently before relying on them for any decision with money attached.

If your product displays our data to end users, you must not present it in a way that implies it is guaranteed, official or exchange-authoritative.

06

Availability and changes

We aim to keep the service running continuously and to keep the response shape stable. We add instruments and markets regularly; those additions will not change the structure of an existing response.

We may make changes that alter behaviour — new fields, deprecated endpoints, revised limits. Where a change would break a working integration, we will give reasonable notice through the documentation and by email.

We may need to suspend the service temporarily for maintenance or to protect its integrity. We will keep such interruptions as short as we can.

07

Intellectual property

The service, the website, the documentation and the software behind them remain ours. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any of it to you.

While your plan is active you may use the data we return inside your own products and services, including displaying it to your end users.

You may not resell, redistribute or sublicense the raw feed as a data product in its own right, or present it as your own market data service, without a separate written agreement with us.

08

Liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms.

We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of trading opportunity, loss of data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service — including any decision taken on the basis of a price we returned.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you actually paid us in that period.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

09

Ending the agreement

You may stop using the service at any time. Deleting a site stops its plan renewing; closing your account ends the agreement.

We may end the agreement if you materially breach these terms — in particular the fair-use and resale restrictions — or if we are required to by law.

When the agreement ends, your keys stop being authorised. Remaining balance is not refunded, in line with the billing section above.

10

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
